Weekend Planner: Shrek Writes Love On Her Arms, Mass Marketplace and More
What are you doing in Needham and Wellesley this weekend? We have some suggestions.

Come and catch a performance of "Shrek The Musical" tonight, for those who have felt a little disconnected from the well-known Ogre. The show starts at 7 p.m., tickets run $17 for adults, $12 for kids under 12. Wellesley High School Auditorium, this Friday night at 7 p.m.
Get Plugged In, and help a good cause. To Write Love on Her Arms, a non-profit movement aimed at helping those dealing with addiction, depression, self-harm or suicide. Plugged In is holding a benefit concert for that cause Friday night, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for students, $10.00 for seniors, and $15.00 for adults.
The Mass Marketplace festival is returning to Elm Bank this weekend, 10 a.m., Saturday until 4 p.m. Artisans, food producers, and others come to Wellesley to peddle their wares: plants, handmade crafts and jewelry, soaps, baked goods, teas, herbs and vegetables, garden products, clothing and fine art.
This weekend, Linden Street's FUNtastic Saturdays return sand art and magic. Their activities are aimed at kids 4 to 8 years old, although nothing is stopping you parents from joining in the fun. It's happening in Linden Square, Wellesley, at 1 p.m.
Go stand in a field. Then sit down and have dinner. Volante Farms is bringing dinner in the field to, well, their field. Saturday, head over as they bring sustainably-made wines and food to your table. Itdoes cost $120 per person, sign up on their website.
