NEWTON, MA — A wild animal that looked more like a wayward pizza delivery worker recently paid a visit to a homeowner's stoop in the Highlands.

The animal, which the homeowner said was a coyote but appears to be a fox, pranced up the front steps of the Highlands home, sniffed around the door and scampered into the night. It was captured on home surveillance and posted Friday via the Neighbors app.

The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife offers some tips for preventing conflicts with coyotes.
