Chestnut Hill Cupcake Shop 'Treats' The One Fund

Treat yourself to a tasty pastry that benefits The One Fund.

Treat Cupcake Bar is selling a special "B Strong" cupcake, from which 50 percent of the proceeds will benefit The One Fund, a charity that helps the victims of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing.

The cupcake costs $5, and is available at both the Needham and Chestnut Hill cupcake bars until the end of May.

According to an e-mail from Treat, The One Fund was selected as part of the Treat Others Well program, which aims to help Greater Boston- and Needham-area youth spread word about their programs and charities each month. The One Fund was selected as this month's chosen non-profit. 

Previously, Treat Others Well has sold cupcakes to benefit the Needham Education Foundation Spelling Bee and the Newton Boys and Girls Club.
