After several meetings with DHCD, it was determined that the grant would be best used to replace the very old and inefficient air source heat pump (HVAC) system at the New Hyde Apartments located at 82 Lincoln St. There are 14 units of affordable housing at this location.
Through the DHCD Designer Selection Committee, an engineer has been retained and will begin the design phase of a new system. The work will commence in 2013.
