Community Meeting on Newton North Parking Plan

The following information was provided by David Koses of the Newton Planning Department. The information was sent in an email to the Newton North High School Liaison Committee:

The Planning Department will be holding a community meeting on Thursday Sept. 13, at 7 p.m., in the  Lecture Hall to discuss a new resident parking permit concept, along with potential changes to the parking restrictions on approximately 60 streets surrounding Newton North High School.

We expect the Public Safety and Transportation Committee of the Board of Aldermen to hold a public hearing and discuss this concept later this fall.
