A peace vigil, a free concert and a budget presentation.

1. Runners: Tell us you're OK and share your stories. After the terrifying events at the Boston Marathon finish line yesterday, we want to hear from as many Newton runners as possible. Leave a comment here or email Melanie.Graham@patch.com.
2. Vigil at St. Paul's. St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Newton will hold a Peace Vigil this evening for the victims and the families affected by yesterday's violence in Boston. The service starts at 8 p.m.
3. Mayor's budget presentation. Mayor Setti Warren will present his fiscal 2014 budget tonight at 7 p.m. in the Aldermanic Chamber at Newton City Hall. Stay tuned to Patch for coverage.

4. Farmers' market. The Newton Indoor Farmers' Market will be open today at the Hyde Community Center from 1:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
5. Concert. The Newton Free Library will host the Calyx Trio for a free performance tonight at 7:30 p.m. They will perform "Tapestries" by Newton-born composer Richard Festinger and Mendelssohn’s Trio in D minor, Opus 49.
