Newton Construction and Communication Coordinator Named Employee of the Year

Newton recognizes one hard-working individual at the end of each year.

NEWTON, MA — Construction Communication Coordinator Terry Crowley has been named the city’s Employee of the Year for 2025.

Crowley was credited for being a driving force behind the repaving of more than 130 roads this year, as well as numerous other traffic projects conducted with the goal of making Newton’s streets safer for pedestrians and drivers. According to Mayor Ruthanne Fuller, Crowley is the contact for all community members for construction and infrastructure-related situations.

“Terry consistently handles complaints with grace, patience, and professionalism. She earns the trust of residents and colleagues alike by setting clear expectations, addressing concerns promptly, and following through with solutions,” Fuller said. “Her judgment, fairness, steadiness and responsiveness bring a sense of calm and confidence to even the most challenging situations.”
