Five Things You Need to Know Today: Oct. 25
A Crystal Lake forum, an art discussion and a flu clinic.

1. Flu clinic. The West Suburban YMCA will host a free flu vaccine clinic today from 9 a.m. to noon. The clinic is for adults only (must be 18 or older).
2. Think Pink! Newton-Wellesley Hospital will host its "Think Pink! Girls Night Out" tonight in the Bowles Conference Center from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
3. Trends in New Media Art. New media artist Roberto Mighty will host a free program tonight at the Newton Free Library starting at 7 p.m. The program, "Trends in New Media Art", will include discussion of art and the use of digital technology as well as the work of multimedia artists.

4. Crystal Lake Conservancy forum. The Crystal Lake Conservancy will hold its annual forum this evening at the Hyde Community Center in Newton Highlands. Residents are welcome to attend and join the conversation on the lake's health and preservation.
5. Go Lions! The Newton South boys' varsity soccer team will face Waltham High in a home match today at 4 p.m. The girls' varsity volleyball team will also have a home match today at 4 p.m., against Boston Latin School.
