Local Lawmaker Visits Brown School "Senate"
Sen. Cynthia Creem acted as president for the students' mock Senate.

Special guests and State Sen. Cynthia Creem made an appearance during the educational event where students actually voted on bills.

Creem said that she was asked to act as president in the mock Senate. When a bill came to her table, she vetoed it, but the students understood their ability to vote it in with a two-thrids majority.
"It was amazing," Creem said.
