NEWTON, MA — Spring is in the air, and that means if you are out you may catch a glimpse of some of Newton's youngest animals making their debut. Thanks to at least one set of keen eyes, Tuesday afternoon firefighters were called to Wilson Circle to help a few young feathered residents who appeared to have taken a wrong turn and ended up in a storm drain.

Members of Rescue 1 were able to open up the drain and pull out six ducklings that somehow got stuck, according to officials.

Newton Fire Fighters save ducklings who made a wrong turn.
