Newton Police Investigate Racist Graffiti
Newton officials said a racial epithet was found taped to the sidewalk in Newton this weekend.

NEWTON, MA — Police are investigating after someone reported finding a racial epithet taped onto the sidewalk near the corner of Albemarle Road and Watertown Street Sunday night.
This comes as the school district is working to address use of the "N-word" also being used at Newton North and students rallied Friday in an effort to draw attention to the issue.
City officials say the Anti-Defamation League, the Newton Human Rights Commission, and Newton Public Schools have been notified.
