Newton Police Log: Woman Shoplifts Twice in One Day and More

June 21:
A shoplifter took a dress from TJ Maxx on Needham Street, Newton Police said. Security at the store recovered the dress and the woman's ID card. She was seen getting into a silver Honda with two black females and head eastbound on Needham Street. Newton Police will summons a 20 year old from Boston to court on a charge of larceny over $250.

June 22:
A woman parked her bicycle outside CVS on Walnut Street and when she came out it was gone, Police said. The bicycle is described as a 10-speed hybrid bike painted dark blue with pink lettering.

A woman shoplifted from the same store twice in one day, Police said. Security tape shows a woman come into Sephora and go into the women's fragrance section and take around 10 bottles and put them in her bag and leave the store. She then can be seen returning and going into the men's fragrance section and take another 10 bottles. Some of the brands taken include Georgio Armani, Coach, Chanel, Gucci and Dolce and Gabbana. The woman is described as being in her late 30s, blonde with dark brown roots worn with bangs and pulled back into a bun. She is 5-foot-7 and 140 pounds, wearing a coral V-neck T-shirt, blue jeans, black flats and a black leather shoulder bag. She may have had a male accomplice, described as a white male in his late 30s, with brown hair with a receding hair line in the front and a circular bald patch in back. He is 6-feet tall, 220 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt with the words "Be Bold" on the back.
June 23:
A woman was spotted taking various items of clothing from Vineyard Vines at the Chestnut Hill Mall, according to Newton Police. The suspect is described as a 40 year old white female, 5-foot-6, wearing a pink shirt and black spandex and a black shoulder bag. She was seen exiting the mall on the Hammond Pond Parkway side.
