Newton Resident Honored With MassBay’s All-College Academic Award
Isaiah A. Milgroom received the award at MassBay's 60th Commencement Exercises on Thursday, May 26.

NEWTON, MA — A Newton student in the Class of 2022 has received MassBay Community College’s All-College Academic Award, the highest honor the college bestows.
Isaiah A. Milgroom, who earned an Associate in Science Degree in General Studies, received the award at MassBay’s 60th Commencement Exercises on Thursday, May 26. During the ceremony, the college celebrated a total of 589 graduates.
Milgroom is one of seven student scholars who received the All-College Academic Award for earning a perfect 4.0 GPA.

MassBay honored seven graduates who earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average with All-College Academic Awards, the highest academic honor the College bestows. The awards were also presented to Maxwell Foster Levy of Hopkinton, Lillian G. Flathers of Wayland. Allison McElligott of Upton, Patrick William O’Neal McDonald of Walpole, Jeicilene De Souza Moura of Clinton, and Karen Ann Travins of Southborough.
In addition to earning an All-College Academic Award, Milgroom received the Division Award for the highest GPA in the academic division of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), as well as the Program Award for the highest GPA in his academic program. He attributes his success to the support from his parents and his amazing and influential professors.

“I would not be the person I am today without MassBay,” Milgroom said in a statement.
