No, Newton Did Not Close its Borders And Other April Fools' Jokes

NEWTON, MA — If you woke up to become startled at the news that longtime Newton police lieutenant and spokesman for the department had announced his retirement or that the city was working to close its border with Waltham - and other towns for that matter - joke's on you.
