Police Log: Teen Spots Suspicious Man Walking Into House
A car was also damaged in a parking lot off Watertown Street.

A 14-year-old girl living near Erie Avenue told police yesterday afternoon she spotted a man trying to get into her house while she was home.
According to reports, the girl saw the man starting to walk into the front hallway after she heard him open the two front doors to the house. Shortly after the man started to enter the house, two family dogs began to bark and the man spotted the teen, after which he turned around and left without saying anything.
The girl told police she saw the man walking east down Erie Avenue toward Woodward Street but was unsure which way he went on Woodward Street. The teen called her mother who then returned home and called police.

Reports said the man was described as being in his late teens or twneties, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
Police said officers searched the area with negative results.

Car Damaged Off Watertown Street
A woman told police that someone keyed her Toyota Corolla this week while it was parked in a condo parking lot in the 200 block of Watertown Street, reports said.
The woman told police she parked her car in the lot around 6 p.m. Tuesday and returned at 10 a.m. on Wednesday to find deep scratches on the front hood and trunk, reports said. No other cars in the lot were damaged, police said.
