Quarterback from Newton Named Conference Offensive Player of the Year
McCallum Foote threw his way to the NESCAC honor.

Newton native McCallum Foote closed out his football career at Middlebury College by being named NESCAC Offensive Player of the Year.
Foote, who went to Noble & Greenough, led the conference in passing with 2,766 yards, and touchdowns (26). He was the top quarterback in NCAA Div. III with and average of 32.38 completions per game, and was ranked second in passing yards per game - 345.8, according to a story in the Hartford Courant.
In a game against Tufts, he threw seven touchdown passes, which set a school record and tied the conference mark. This is the second offensive player of the year honor that Foote has received.
