VIDEO: Kennedy Opens New Campaign Office in Attleboro

Several dozen supporters crammed into a small room on North Main Street Saturday afternoon for the opening of congressional candidate Joseph Kennedy III's Attleboro campaign office.

Kennedy, who has opened additional offices in Fall River and Medway, has his campaign headquarters located on Chestnut Street in Newton Upper Falls. 

During the opening of his new office, Kennedy called Attleboro "the heart of the [4th] district." He thanked the supporters for their help, which included canvassing the neighborhoods in the near 100-degree heat.

Kennedy, 31, is heavily favored to win the Sept. 6 primary. He will likely face Republican Sean Bielat in the November general election to fill the seat vacated by .

Other candidates vying for the seat include Newton Democrat , Brookline Republican Elizabeth Childs, Fall River Republican and LaRouche Democrat .
