Previously housed in a 250 square foot space, the move has significantly increased the nonprofit’s capacity to serve the needs of the community.
Welcome Home was founded by Julie Plaut Mahoney, who saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between older adults downsizing by purging usable home goods, and families in need. The organization became a 501(c)(3) in 2019.
