1 Dead, 1 Injured In Construction Incident Near Merrimack River
Two workers fell out of a bucket truck while working on a bridge over the Merrimack River in Haverhill, State Police said.

HAVERHILL, MA — One person is dead and another seriously injured after two workers fell from a bucket truck while working on a bridge on I-495 over the Merrimack River. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said are both victims worked for a state contractor.
The Essex County District Attorney's office said one person was confirmed dead at the scene and another was undergoing surgery after being flown to a Boston hospital. His condition is unknown.
State Police said the incident occurred on Bank Road in Haverhill.
