Amazon Opens Massive Robotics Warehouse In North Andover
An Amazon warehouse in the works for years has opened in North Andover and is expected to bring 1,500 jobs to the area.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — A grand opening of the state's first robotic Amazon warehouse was held Monday. Gov. Maura Healey said the warehouse opening is evidence of the state's high per-capita investment in robotics start-ups and its status as a technology leader, according to WHAV.
The warehouse is anticipated to bring over 1,500 jobs to the area. It's been in the works for many years, with the town and Amazon coming to an agreement in 2019.
The town will receive over $85 million in revenue, compared to only $600,000 if the land had remained vacant, a town official told WHAV.
