Authorities Hunting the 'Merrimack Valley Bandit'

Authorities are looking for a bank robber dubbed the "Merrimack Valley Bandit," The Valley Patriot is reporting.

The man has reportedly robbed several banks in the area in the past three months using a small handgun.

The FBI has formed a task force with local police departments and are asking the public to check out photos of the robber on their website and contact police with any information.

The suspect is described on the FBI website as a white male with medium build and thin eyebrows. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt during the robberies.

Most of the banks he has robbed have been branches of TD Bank. North Andover has two TD Bank branches, one of which was robbed last year.
