Boston Marathon Runner: Meghan O'Donnell

In our first North Andover Boston Marathon runner profile, we spotlight a local dancer.

Name: Meghan O'Donnell

Age: 27

From: Grew up on Sugarcane Lane, now lives near downtown North Andover.

Profession: Dance instructor and assistant director at Center for the Performing Arts; marketing job in Newburyport.

Marathon Experience: This will be her second Boston Marathon, and she also ran in Chicago in 2010.

Reason for Running: Meaghan is running for two Center for the Performing Arts students with cystic fibrosis with the Massachusetts General team for the cystic fibrosis clinic.

Meghan's mom Jane says, "she is remarkable and I honestly don't know how she is working and training and accomplishing so much."

The 117th Boston Marathon will be Monday, April 15.
