Bradstreet School To Be Demolished
Selectmen vote in favor of residential and commercial redevelopment project.

A residential and commercial property is coming to Main Street, now that the Board of Selectmen have approved the demolition of the former Bradstreet School.
According to a report in the Eagle-Tribune, the board unanimously approved the Hearthstone Realty Corp.’s plan to redevelop the property at 70 Main St. with 15 apartments, which will face Saunders Street, and a handful of storefronts and offices facing Main Street.
Although the Historical Commission had hoped to preserve the former school building, Town Manager Andrew Maylor said Monday that the agreements are legally binding and the school will be demolished.
