Cupcake Store Holds Grand Opening In North Andover

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — An award-winning mobile bakery is holding a grand opening of its brick-and-mortar location in North Andover.

Pipe Dream Cupcakes is opening Wednesday at 48 Water St. The North Andover Merchants Association will attend a ribbon cutting ceremony which will be at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The store held a soft opening in November.

Pipe Dream Cupcakes has been the recipient of the “Best of North Shore Award” from North Shore Magazine for cupcakes nine times.

“The Pipe Dream Cupcakes brand has grown significantly over the past 12 years, and having a storefront location in addition to the food truck allows my customers more opportunities to enjoy my cupcakes.” Founder Nadine Levin said in a statement. "In essence, my dream was to create a cupcake café, where my customers can sit, relax, and talk while enjoying coffee and teas with one of our amazing cupcakes. The food truck will still be available for events and the store will be convenient for my customers to purchase cupcakes during the week.”

The new location will also be part of the company's Events Catering Division which handles corporate events, weddings, religious events, and celebrations.

Pipe Dream will offer at least 12 different cupcake varieties this week with flavors like Funfetti, cannoli, and Oreo. Each purchase qualifies for a drawing to win one dozen free cupcakes. There will be a range of other specials from Wednesday to Friday.
