"We started this event because we had close friends impacted by Cystic Fibrosis, and the event has just taken off," said Thornhill, who owns Mona's Daycare with his wife, Mona. "We sell out every year."

Thornhill, who estimates the comedy night has raised over a total of $125,000 for Cystic Fibrosis research, said this year's lineup is nationally known, and was secured through the help of the North Andover Merchants Association.

"We've been able to attract top talent because of NAMA's help with fundraising," explained Thornhill.

Each fall NAMA throws a fundraiser at Rolf's Pub on Main Street - with proceeds going towards paying for the comedy night's talent.

"It's been great to have so much support from North Andover's business community and residents," said Thornhill.

This year's event begins at 8:00pm, with doors opening at 6:00pm. It is organized by a group of North Andover residents led by the two Thornhills.
