NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Merrimack Valley Credit Union (MVCU) hosted its annual Shred It Day on Saturday at its branches in North Andover and Plymouth.

The event gave credit union members an opportunity to shred items containing private information — like account numbers, social security numbers or medical and legal information — that could be of use to identity thieves.
