North Andover Pedestrian On Sidewalk Struck And Killed By Vehicle: DA
The victim has not been publicly identified. The incident occurred Sunday along Massachusetts Avenue and remains under investigation.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — A pedestrian walking on the sidewalk was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday in North Andover, the Essex County District Attorney's Office has announced.
As of Monday morning, the district attorney's office had not revealed the name of the victim pending the notification of the next of kin.
According to police reports, at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk along Massachusetts Avenue near Route 125 when they were struck by a Honda Civic.

The victim was transported to Lawrence General Hospital, where they were pronounced dead, authorities said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, and no charges had been filed or citations issued as of Monday, according to the district attorney's office.

Authorities said the incident remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Construction Section and detectives from the North Andover Police Department.
