Savor the Sound of St. Patty's Day at the Library
There will be a rare performance Sunday.

No St. Patrick's Day is complete without music. So Sunday afternoon, head to the Stevens Memorial Library to get into the spirit.
At 2:30 p.m. at the library, musician Daniel Meyers will be there performing the uilleamm (Irish) bagpipes, a unique wind instrument and cornerstone of traditional Irish music since the early 18th century. You'll recognize its sound if you've ever seen a “Riverdance” performance or movies like “Braveheart” or “Titanic.”
Meyers plays several instruments and has performed throughout the eastern United States, Britain and Ireland. He performs with the music ensemble Seven Times Salt, as well as with the Boston-based 7 Hills Renaissance Wind Band. He's gathered a big following of fans and will bring the spirit of St. Patrick's day to North Andover.
