The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.
Wednesday, April 10
At 9:28 a.m., a caller on Kara Drive reported that some type of animal was swimming in her pool and couldn't get out. Police freed the animal from the pool.
At 4:12 p.m., a caller on Hillside Road reported that his mother wouldn't let him leave. Police spoke with them, and peace was restored.

At 6:15 p.m., Kohl's reported that a female shoplifter fled in a white pick-up truck toward Lawrence.
Thurday, April 11
At 2:13 p.m., a caller on Union Street reported that two youths were in a car smoking. Police spoke with the youths and sent them on their way.

At 5:40 p.m., police were called to assist Lawrence Police after a man reportedly jumped into the Merrimack River.
