MA Man With Alcohol Bottle In Pants Leads Police To Arrest 3 Chronic Shoplifters

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — A trio of shoplifters from Worcester were arrested at the Northborough Wegmans after one of them was spotted stuffing a bottle of alcohol down his pants.

The Wegmans loss prevention team called Northborough police after recognizing the men from a previous shoplifting incident — and that's on top of the attempted booze theft, police said.

Northborough police arrested the three men on charges including shoplifting and possession of cocaine. The men were expected to be arraigned Friday at Westborough District Court.
