The Art of Giving to Fund Public Art Projects
Attend an Art Exhibit, Auction and Night Out

The Northborough Arts Council (NAC) is the new non-profit funding arm of the Northborough Cultural Council (NCC) that is dedicated to developing and funding public art projects around town. The goal is to complement the master implementation plan by beautifying key pathways identified by the Plan. Past events sponsored by the NCC that you may be familiar with are the CultureFest of Music & Arts, the Go Outdoors painted doors exhibit at Ellsworth-McAfee park, and the Apple Blossom mural on the Town Common. This year’s NCC events include Open Studios, Flowerful Chairs and Porchfest. We have other new programs planned with the funds we raise through this event; read more about them on www.NorthboroughArtsCouncil.org. We strive to anchor Northborough as a desirable Town to visit through attractions brought by our art installations.
To fund all the wonderful work the NCC has presented to you in the past and more in the future, the NAC is holding an online art auction of original artwork by many local artists. Please view and bid on the artworks at www.32auctions.com/NboroArtsCouncil between now and April 27 to support your local artists.
On Saturday evening, 4/27, we are holding an art exhibit night where you may view the artwork up close and mingle with the artists to hear about their inspirations. It will be a fun night out with complimentary beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres donated by local restaurants, and live music. Please invite your friends and family to this wonderful event while supporting our public art goals and your local non-profit. Please register and pay for the event by visiting www.NorthboroughArtsCouncil.org/new-page-1.
