Cultural Council Looking for New Members to Support Key Programs
Do you want to get involved in Northborough's transformation? Join the Cultural Council and be part of the LOVE Northborough efforts.
We all share a vision for the future of Northborough where we create a stronger sense of place, identity, and connection between the people in our community. Our town is undergoing a great wave of community driven transformation and you can make a difference too.
Be part of a group striving to use the Arts to enhance the look and feel of our downtown and making it more memorable and inviting with murals, sculptures, outdoor painting exhibitions, and festivals on the common. All these are part of the LOVE Northborough campaign. Bring your ideas for cultural projects that would make our town more attractive to locals and visitors and work with a team to make happen. Join the Northborough Cultural Council (NCC).
You may have seen the mural addition to the Town Common or the Go Out Doors exhibition at the Ellsworth McAfee Park. These were NCC organized projects. Would you like to see more of this in our town? We need people like you to make it happen. You can make a difference in forging the next part of the Northborough public art campaign.

Additionally, you can contribute to the efforts of revitalizing the town center with festivals like the annual Northborough CultureFest, also organized by the NCC. CultureFest is a great addition to the town’s vibrant life and we want to build it up to become an event that our town’s community looks forward to each spring. Help us bring together different kinds of music, dance, and professional artists to our town for a full day of fun, food, learning, and community togetherness.
Finally, become a member and you can become part of distributing financial support in the form of grants to local artists and groups so they bring great programs to our town’s schools, library, senior center and more. NCC is tasked with granting over $8,000 each year to local artists and organizations. Join the NCC!

We are made up of volunteers who are appointed by our selectman for a three-year term, and we meet about twice a month. Are you interested in joining our fun, creative and welcoming group of culturally minded people?
