Free Narcan Training offered

Overdoses can happen anywhere. With only 30 minutes of training, you'll know exactly what to do. A free Narcan training is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 23, 6-6:30 PM at the Northborough Library (34 Main Street).

Register on line to reserve your spot.

The session will provide all participants with a brief training on how to recognize an opioid overdose, when and how to use Narcan, and a free kit to take home. The kit includes 2 doses of Narcan, Fentanyl test strips with instructions, face shield, instructions on Narcan administration, and a recovery resource guide.

Additional training dates are scheduled for October 28, November 25, and December 16, 6:00-6:30 PM.

The training is provided by the Encompass Coalition in collaboration with the Greater Boroughs Partnership for Health.
