MA Star Wars Fan Wins $5.4 Million On May 4
The Northborough resident was wearing "Star Wars" gear for the May-the-4 holiday when he found out he won.
NORTHBOROUGH, MA — A big prize playing the Megabucks he won.
A self-proclaimed "Star Wars" fan won $5.37 million playing Megabucks in a drawing that took place May 4 — the "may the force" holiday for fans of the space opera series.
Northborough resident James Jorgensen was even wearing "Star Wars" gear when he won.

"The best thing is I’m a huge Star Wars fan, so I was all decked out in a Star Wars hat and Star Wars shirt, and I won on May 4th which is an unofficial Star Wars holiday," he told the lottery commission.
Jorgensen opted to take the $3.6 million lump sum payment. He plans to buy a new house, and pay for college for his padawan ... err, his kids.

Jorgensen bought the ticket at Lowe’s Variety Market and Meat Shop, 255 West Main St, Northborough. The store will get a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
