Northborough Helping Hands award scholarships
NHHA has awarded its 2024 scholarships to Algonquin Regional High School graduating seniors Landen Jorgensen and Irene Shin.

The Northborough Helping Hands Association, Inc. (NHHA) has announced the recipients of its 2024 scholarships. A generous community donation designated for scholarships has enabled NHHA to assist Northborough high school seniors to pursue their education journey.
Algonquin Regional High School seniors Landen Jorgensen and Irene Shin will each receive $1,000.
The mission of NHHA since 1920 has been to coordinate programs to assist those in need. Its goals are met while collaborating with town agencies, businesses, and organizations. It is volunteer run and the programs are a success due to the generosity of the community.

The Thanksgiving food baskets and holiday gift program, winter coat and boot drive, and backpack drive are annual programs coordinated by NHHA.
Additionally, the organization offers a free medical equipment loan program to Northborough residents for short or long-term use. Equipment loans are based on availability. Items include wheelchairs, transport chairs, canes, walkers, bath chairs and benches, crutches and more!
