Pedestrian Injured After Tractor-Trailer Strikes Them

A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a tractor-trailer on Shops Way on Thursday, Fire Chief David Durgin said Friday.

The victim was take to the UMass Medical Center, Durgin said.

The incident was reported at 3:03 p.m., according to the Northborough Police and Fire log.

At 3:05 a.m., police received a report from Bartlett Street of a single-car motor vehicle accident with injuries. EMS was requested. McFee and Newton was requested for a tow.

At 11:39 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Bartlett Street.

At 1:52 p.m., someone on Southwest Cutoff reported she was moving items and that her boyfriend was angry. He was not there when police arrived.

At 2:53 p.m., police received a report from Hudson Street that a tractor-trailer hit a bridge.

At 11:07 p.m., on Main Street, police issued civil complaints for speeding and a narcotic drug violation.
