Police ID Man Killed In I-290 Exit Crash
The single-vehicle crash happened Sunday near the Solomon Pond Mall exit.
NORTHBOROUGH, MA — State police have identified the man killed in a crash along an I-290 exit at the Marlborough-Northborough line on Sunday morning.
The crash happened just before 9 a.m. at eastbound exit 30A. According to police, driver Elijah Pye, 20, veered off the exit and into the woods. He was taken to UMass Memorial in Worcester, where he died due to his injuries.
A passenger, an unidentified 20-year-old man, was seriously injured and also taken to UMass Memorial. Both men are from Cherry Valley in Leicester.

State police are still investigating the crash, and did not immediately name a possible cause on Monday afternoon.
