Rally On Upholding Gun Laws And Banning Assault Rifles Held In Northborough
A rally is to be held at the future site of the Northborough Town Common to voice concern over upholding the ban against assault weapons.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA—In the wake of the Las Vegas shootings, groups are urging concerned citizens to take a stand to support and uphold Massachusetts’ law prohibiting sale of assault weapons.
On Saturday, Oct. 14, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., gather on Main Street, Northborough, at the future site of the Northborough Town Commons, located at the grassy area next to the Civil War memorial.
The rally is being organized by a "huddle" in Northborough that has been meeting regularly since the Women's March, calling themselves the ReSisters.

The goal of this rally is to speak out against the proliferation of assault weapons used in almost-daily massacres in this country, say organizers. Like-minded individuals are invited to join for what is anticipated to be a peaceful, bipartisan gathering. Signs and slogans are welcome.
