Shrewsbury High School students fundraising for LLS

A team of Shrewsbury High School students are fundraising for the Students of the Year campaign for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Shrewsbury High School sophomores Misbah, Trishna and Aanya have been nominated to join the Students of the Year Campaign for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). Together they are raising awareness for the many lives that are affected by blood cancers and the research and support LLS provides. They are also fundraising to make a difference.

Leukemia is a cancer that affects the body's blood-forming cells in the bone marrow and lymphatic system. Everyday, close to 170 Americans are diagnosed with this disease.

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes located at 10010 Shops Way in Northborough will also be hosting a fundraiser on Thursday, March 31, 12-8 p.m. to benefit this effort.
