Junior forward Emily Carens scored 14 points as the Algonquin Regional High School varsity girls basketball team defeated host Westborough, 52-31, on Monday night.
Senior captain-guard Amanda Murphy added 12 points for Algonquin, which led 24-20 at halftime.
Senior Amy Wilichowski led Westborough with 11 points.
Algonquin will host Wachusett at 7 p.m. Friday.
Westborough (2-3) travels to Quabbin at 7 p.m. Friday.
