5 Things: Movie Night, Help for Job Hunters
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on March 13 in the North End.

1. Mostly sunny: Today will be mostly sunny and windy, with gusts up to 20 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service. There is a slight chance of rain or even light snow late this evening. High: 52, Low: 32.
2. Watch a movie: The North End Branch of the Boston Public Library will host a free screening tonight at 5:30 p.m. of the 1984 film “The Natural,” starring Robert Redford (134 minutes, rated PG).
3. Trivia night: Drop by Joe's American Bar and Grill (100 Atlantic Ave.) tonight at 7 p.m. for Stump Trivia, where teams of 2-6 players answer trivia questions throughout the night for a chance to win some great prizes. This free event is held every Wednesday.

4. Waterfront planning begins: The Boston Redevelopment Authority will provide an overview of the Downtown Waterfront planning project today from 6:30-8 p.m. at the New England Aquarium IMAX Theater (1 Central Wharf). The planning process, which is expected to last 18 months to two years, involves the redevelopment of the area from Long Wharf down to the Evelyn Moakley Bridge (Seaport Boulevard). At this public meeting, the BRA will introduce consultants from Utile Inc. and discuss the scope, process and timeline of the planning project. Additional public events, including tours of the area, are being held this week.
5. Job search help: Neighbors helping Neighbors USA meets every Wednesday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Boston Public Library’s Central Branch (700 Boylston St.). The free, peer-led group helps individuals in their job search. Membership is open to anyone in career transition including unemployed or underemployed individuals and recent college graduates in the fields of business, nonprofit, and education, as well as individuals re-entering the job market, struggling small business owners and anyone looking for part-time or volunteer work.
