After 100 Years in Business, Prince Recreates Classic Commercial
See how the company honors the North End in it's newest commercial.

After 100 years in business, Price Pasta wanted to celebrate. And they returned to their most famous ad to do it.
Check out the new Prince Pasta ad above, which plays on its iconic 1969 ad featuring North End resident Anthony Martignetti running home for a fresh bowl of spaghetti.
The new commercial was shot in the North End earlier this summer. NorthEndWaterfront.com has a terrific post and photos of the new commercial's shoot, based on Sheafe Street.
You can compare the new ad with the classic in the video clips above. The new ad doesn't try to recreate the original frame for frame, but does calls attempt to capture the same homey feel by weaving an Anthony stand-in through a modern North End.
What do you think of the new ad? Does it recapture what was great about the original? Do you remember seeing the old ads when you were younger? Tell us in the comments below.
