Keep an Eye on Tropical Storm Andrea

Tropical Storm Andrea is the first named storm of the Atlantic Ocean's hurricane season, and she's heading toward Massachusetts.

Fortunately, the water's too cold for Andrea to stay organized, but even a weak tropical storm or tropical depression carries strong winds and lots of rain. 

Above is a Google Crisis Map showing Andrea's forecasted path over southern New England. You can zoom in and out like you could with a normal Google map. You can also type in a location to re-center the map. 

If you click on the "Layers" box, you'll get options for more information to display on the map, such as flood areas (as of Friday there were no flood warnings in effect or expected), Red Cross shelter locations and more. Fingers crossed we don't need that information this time around, but it's useful to have just in case.
