Police: Billerica Man Charged with Possession of Pills at the Bruins Game
The following information was supplied by the Boston Police. Charges listed do not indicate convictions.

Officers were performing a paid detail at the TD Garden for the Bruins game at 8:55 p.m. on April 28, when the arena security reported an extremely intoxicated individual in the stairway.
The individual was reportedly unsteady on his feet and refused to leave the premises. The suspect reportedly was trying to conceal something in his left shoe. When asked what was in the shoe, the suspect said, “nothing.”
When the officer finally could see into the suspect’s shoe, he found a plastic bag with 17 solid orange pills and 4 broken pills.

Upon further investigation, the officer determined that the pills were Diazepam 5 mgs. When the police asked the suspect where his pill bottle was, the suspect could not provide an answer.
Officers arrested Richard Devitto of 12 Greenville Street, Billerica, and charged him with possession of a Class C substance.
