North Reading Election 2020: Polling Hours, Ballot
Polls are open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
NORTH READING, MA — North Reading's Annual Town Election is on Tuesday and there are five races on the ballot.
Select Board, Moderator, School Committee, Community Planning Commission and Housing Authority are all on the ballot, although all five races are uncontested.
Polls opened at 12 p.m. and will stay open until 6 p.m. The town decided that limiting the in-person polling hours to 6 hours, as allowed under Mass General Laws, was a necessary precaution under the current circumstances to limit the potential spread of the coronavirus.

Masks or face coverings will be required as well as social distancing.
In order to minimize exposures at the polls please note the following:

- Street Directories will be posted on the walls if you do not remember from which Precinct you vote;
- To find your Precinct ahead go to: www.WhereDoIVoteMA.com or call our office;
- There will be no "Information Table" workers to assist you in finding your Precinct.
- All Election staff will be wearing masks and may have gloves and face shields, as well.
- Check-in and Check-out tables will either have Plexiglas shields or be configured to maximize proper distancing.
- Each Precinct polling area will be configured to maximize proper distancing between voters with limited booths in each Precinct to accommodate a limited number of voters at a time -- please be patient.
- While waiting in line, please exercise 6' distancing from all other persons at all times.
- Voting booths will be wiped-down regularly with sanitizing wipes or spray.
