Trespassing and Larceny at Tournament Players Club in Norton Police Log: Aug. 29 - 31

The following information was supplied by Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Aug. 29
12:19 a.m.: Arnold Palmer Boulevard, larceny. Larceny of two generators from the area of the sixth green.
3:18 p.m.: Fraud/embezzlement.
5:29 p.m.: Morse Drive, breaking and entering of a residence.
7:47 p.m.: N. Washington Street, suspicious condition. Report of a large party in the woods across the street from residence. Group is on their way. All subjects check and have been advised.
8:13 p.m.: Norton Glen Road, general disturbance. Recovery company on scene reporting the owner of a repo vehicle becoming irate and officer requested to keep the peace.
8:51 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident hit and run. Caller reports a vehicle hit his car in the parking lot on Monday night and left. Both parties spoken to. Will take care of it tomorrow.
9:55 p.m.: Burt Street, general disturbance. Caller reports three youths in the area smashing things in the roadway. Patrolman Derosier reports off with a group, they are now cleaning TV debris from the roadway.
10:11 p.m.: Arnold Palmer Boulevard, suspicious condition. Patrolman Laurenti off with two subjects at the entrance, they were trespassing on the greens and taking golf balls.

Thursday, Aug. 30
9:47 a.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports two-car accident box truck versus pick up with possible injuries in front of Honey Dew. W. Main Street will be completely shut down. Both vehicles removed.
10:23 a.m.: Spruce Tree Lane, scam. Caller reporting attempted fraud. Caller was told she owes money regarding an overdraft of her account and that the Norton Police Department was on the way to her house. Caller confirmed with her bank there was no such activity. Caller was advised this was probably a scam attempt. Caller advised to call if she sees anyone suspicious in the area.
7:29 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, assisted Mansfield Police Department. Mansfield Police Department requests an officer to the area of TPC and their line reporting a male was driving on the road with a golf cart. Area search negative. Report of a motorcyclist down and lying on the side of the road. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
11:20 p.m.: Sconset Circle, domestic disturbance.
11:33 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, general disturbance. Caller reports noise complaint coming from house on corner of Clark Recreational Drive and Mansfield Ave. Patrolman Francis reports noise coming from  subjects who rent the property there. They were hostile and have no problem creating a noise. Subjects also state they will be calling the Chief on Friday. They were advised.

Friday, Aug. 31
4:23 p.m.: Cherry Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports ex-wife’s house was broken into and a few items were taken.
