Agenda for the Board of Selectmen, Mar. 20

The Norwood Board of Selectmen will meet in room 34 of Town Hall. Here are the highlights from issues on tonight's agenda:

• Gerald Miller, Superintendent of the Recreation Department will be submitting the monthly report of the department’s activities.
• Robert M. Thornton, Town Clerk and Accountant, will be submitting a copy of the amendment to the town by-law reducing the number of members on the School Committee from 7 to 5, which has been approved by the Attorney General.
• E-mails and letter received from residents will be submitted to the board about the school budget cuts and the necessity of an override.
• Stephen Costello, Director, Community Planning & Economic Development will be submitting a request for a joint meeting of the Planning Board and the Board of Selectmen for the purpose of appointing someone to fill the seat of E. William Bamber.
