Agenda for the Board of Selectmen, May 1

Highlights from the agenda for the Board of Selectmen meeting.

The Norwood Board of Selectmen will meet tonight at 7:00 p.m. in room 34 of Town Hall. Here are the highlights from issues on tonight's agenda:

  • Chief William G. Brooks III, NPD, will be submitting the monthly report of the department's activities.
  • There will be a dog hearing for resident Sherree Capello at 7:15 p.m. pursuant to MGL, Chapter 140, Section 157 regarding complaints about Ms. Capello’s dog Brutus.
  • The Norwood Portuguese Club will be submitting a request for Wine and Malt Beverage License for Saturday, May 5 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, May 6 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the club and rear parking lot.
  • Norwood Council Knights of Columbus will be submitting a request for a one day Wine and Malt Beverage license for Sat., May 5, from 2 to 6 p.m.;
    requests for one day AAB license and dance permit for Sat., May 12, from 7 p.m. to midnight; Sat., May 19, from 7 to 11 p.m., Sun., May 27, from 8 p.m. to midnight.
  • ABCC will be submitting announcement of public hearings to be held about Happy Hour Regulations – whether they should be updated or amended because of proposed gaming establishments.
