Highlights from the agenda for the Board of Selectmen meeting.

The Norwood Board of Selectmen will meet in room 34 of Town Hall. Here are the highlights from issues on tonight's agenda:
- Jean Taylor, Chairman of the Downtown Steering Committee, will address the Board about this summer's Farmer’s Market.
- Stacey Lane, RN, Assistant Director of the Board of Health will be submitting notice of the upcoming Household Hazardous Waste/Recycling Day on Saturday, May 12 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Composting Facility off Winter Street - rain or shine. A full list of materials that will be collected can be found in the Recycling Newsletter that was mailed to all residents or on the town’s website.
- John P. Flynn, Esquire, Town Counsel, will be submitting an opinion that the Board does not have the authority to grant an exemption from the by-laws of the Town of Norwood regarding the request for an exemption of the Sex offender Residency by-law.
