Braintree Passes On Norwood HS Principal
The school district has opted to reopen the search rather than go forward with Jonathan Bourn.

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood High School Principal Jonathan Bourn has one less potential landing spot for when he leaves town this summer.
Braintree Superintendent Frank Hackett announced Monday that the search for the next Braintree High School headmaster will be reopened. Bourn was announced as the lone finalist last month. Hackett declined to say why he was passing on Bourn.
“We were down to one candidate. I don’t think it’s appropriate to talk about the decision,” Hackett said.

For Bourn, it's one less place he may possibly land after this school year. Bourn announced last month that he will leave Norwood effective July 1. He remains a finalist for the principal positions at Medway High School and Belmont High School.
